PCT JOINS HANDS TO SUPPORT SEAFARERS' FAMILIES IN OVERCOMING FLOOD CONSEQUENCES

Responding to the call from the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of the Labour Union of Global Pacific Shipping Joint Stock Company (PCT), the program "Joining Hands to Support Seafarers' Families in Overcoming Difficulties Caused by Floods in the Central Region" received positive response from the entire system: PCT employees, seafarers, partners, and Shipowners.

The charity program had successfully mobilized VND 270,000,000, and the entire amount was transferred or directly presented to the Seafarers' families who suffered heavy losses in the areas of Ninh Thuan, Phu Yen, and Binh Dinh.

With the goal of leaving no one behind, the delegation visited the homes and personally delivered gifts to the seafarers' families severely affected by the storms and floods.

In Phu Yen – the most severely affected locality, the team led by Ms. Huyen Thanh Thi Nguyen – Director of PCT, had directly visited, shared, and encouraged the Seafarers' families to overcome difficulties after the floods.

Ms. Huyen Thanh Thi Nguyen – Director of PCT, attentively listened and shared the pain and difficulties with the seafarers' families.

The team sat down with the seafarers' relatives to hear their feelings, losses, and the challenges the families faced after the flood.

This activity not only provides material support but also demonstrates the teamwork spirit of those who go to sea, and the close and consistent companionship between shore and ship, ensuring seafarers always feel secure and confident in their work.

The gifts presented directly, though unable to completely erase the losses caused by the storms and floods, represent the meaningful compassion shared by the entire workforce at PCT with the seafarers' families..

We would like to express our gratitude to the respected Shipowners, esteemed partners, the entire staff, and especially the more than 60 individuals/seafarer groups who trusted, contributed, and spread love to their colleagues' families – helping them stand firm and overcome the difficulties after the storms and floods.

Sincerely .

HR & Crew Department.
